Scottish Conservatives Call for End to Empty Property Rates
The Scottish Conservatives are
calling on the SNP to scrap proposals which would increase the
tax that owners of empty business premises have to pay. The
Scottish Government plans to reduce the rates relief discount from
50% to 10%. The Conservatives are now calling on the SNP to
drop the plans. A
debate on the issue took place on Thursday, 21 June.
